This was my first approach experiment to video art, although I did not recognize very well the concept of video as an artistic expression itself. I can tell that here I started to point out feelings, emotions and inner thoughts through the use of stimuli. The exercise was very intuitive and spontaneus. So I took various music references and scratch them into a new dramatic curve. After having edited the music, I started to assign images to each sound.

What I was certain about is that I did not wanted to tell a story. TV bumbers, videos and other audiovisual works broadcasted on Mtv were a strong influence. That sense of creating a visual and sound atmosphere rather than telling a story were strong formal aspects I wanted to use in my own work. This video was that first step into the city, the video juxtaposition and the use of "documentary" images.
